SEO Link Monster Review (In-Depth with Screenshots)

If you’ve browsed any of the websites ranking on page one for the term “SEO Link Monster” or “SEO Link Monster Review“, they all contain some in-depth “exclusive” SEO Link Monster review that usually just contains a lot of info copied straight off the JV website.

It’s kind of insulting actually, to be treated like nothing but an ATM by some greedy infomarketer looking to get his name on the list of top sellers at the end of the launch.

Screw that…

Here’s a REAL SEO Link Monster review, complete with cool screenshots (but minus all the hyped-up bullet points found on most of these review sites).

(WARNING – There’s a lot of images on here, so please be patient as it loads.)

SEO Link Monster Review – The Tour

Home Page

SEO Link Monster Review Home PageAfter you log in to the member’s area, you are welcomed by this screen, a fast-track answer guide to the most obvious questions a user might have.

First, an introduction video highlighting all the features of SEO Link Monster; next, the rules of the network (the usual – no gambling, adult, pharmacy, etc. – you should know the drill by now) and a link to the training videos that will show you how to use every single part of the Monster.

They’ve actually done a really good job at trying to mitigate that frustration of buying a product and then not knowing how to use it, so kudos on that.

Third is the downloads section, which we will cover in-depth momentarily; and lastly, the help desk, just in case anything else comes up that can’t be answered through watching the training videos.

Downloads

Next up is the Downloads section, home to three products (aka upsells):

  • Monster SEO Course
  • Article Monster Pack
  • Software Programs

Honestly, while the “Monster” SEO course is good, I only recommend SEO Link Monster to people who already knowledgeable in SEO, so personally I’d skip it.

The Article Monster Pack is a good buy; most blog networks get underused simply because the user doesn’t have enough content to keep the links going. My personal opinion goes like this – “Don’t buy the fastest horse on the farm if you don’t plan on racing him” – aka, don’t bother buying a tool like SEO Link Monster if you’re only going to submit an article a day. It’s just a waste of money.

The software programs – honestly – I didn’t even check out. My bad. I will get back to you on those, I promise.

Rank

The rank menu gives you a chance to download the “Rankerizer”, some application that you could already download for free at www.rankerizer.com.

Big whoop…

I personally use www.ranktrackerplugin.com to track all my keywords. Yeah, it’s $27 bucks, but it emails me the keywords I’m ranking for and also emails me anytime they change so I don’t have to spend my life checking where I rank at for any particular keyword.

Spinner

Next to last on the list is the Spinner, a handy little tool to spin your articles. I wouldn’t describe the articles this thing generates as great, or even very good, but it does the trick. Very useful if you also purchased the Article Monster Pack.

TIP – I actually use The Leading Articles Ultra-Spinnable Minis to get all my articles for blog network use. It’s $17 a month for each niche you choose (there’s 10 niches available now) and you get a spinnable article every work day (for a total of 5 per week) from each niche you choose.

Add in the awesome Un-SpinIt tool they have and the MTSUP’s (More Than Ultra Spinnable Paragraphs) you can add in at the introduction, the middle, the conclusion, or the bio box (you get two links in the bio box) and you’ve got the easiest articles ever conceived. It literally takes me like three minutes to generate three unique articles for my Contextual Backlinks Extreme (it’s a WSO blog network) network.

Easy peasy…

Automation

Last up on the list is the Automation tab. This is where you make your money; quite literally. This tab lets you upload your articles for distribution and also lets you track the uploaded articles to see which ones have gone out.

First thoughts – I didn’t see a scheduling feature…which kinda turned me off. I like being able to set it up on the weekend and walk away. However, every powerful blog network can’t be like BMR and these guys don’t have as many crazy restrictions as BMR does; plus with my LeadingArticles spinnable articles, it only takes me like 5-10 minutes to toss 10+ articles on the network. You figure 3 links per article and 10+ articles a day and you’re looking at 30+ backlinks a day I’m shooting out…in just over ten minutes.

Not bad, if I say so myself…

IMPORTANT – Forgot to mention this – the Automation tab only takes first level spinning, so don’t go trying to add any nested spintax articles…they’ll bounce back.

SEO Link Monster Review – The Results

Page Rank – Out of the articles submitted so far, I’m looking at a PR 0-3 spread, which isn’t the greatest, but it’s pretty darn good for a brand new network. I only expect the PR to go up as time goes on, so I’m not too worried about that right now.

Indexing – They did a pretty good job of indexing the links (about 50-60%), but I’ll probably still run the links through Linklicious or a service like that, just to double tap them.

Submissions – Not as many submissions as I’d hoped for, but it’s still new so I’m going to cut them some slack on it. They still put out quite a bit of links, but I’ll be happier when I see the amount of submissions go up.

SEO Link Monster Review – The Verdict

Buy it? Don’t buy it?

Honestly, like I said on the main page…if you’re an intermediate to advanced SEO guy, I don’t think you need to even think about this one – it’s a MUST BUY. Blog networks are the gold standard for backlinks and they are not going anywhere, so the more of them you collect the higher your rankings will go (and the more money you will pocket!).

SEO Link Monster Review Yes

If you are a newbie to this SEO game – and by newbie I’m talking about guys (and gals) who are still trying to figure out the basics of on-page SEO and off-page SEO, how to optimize their alt tags, and what keyword density to use on their pages – this product is probably going to get left sitting in the corner somewhere because you don’t understand it’s true power.

You gotta know the basics of SEO and understand the true power of a purchase like this before you ever pull out a credit card or type in a Paypal password. Not trying to be mean, just being honest with you right now.
